The Fletcher High School “Pride of the Beaches” Marching Band is our parade band, football game pep band, and a Class 3A FMBC competitive marching band.
The band, led by the band director and the student drum majors, is made up of winds, percussion, and color guard. Each section has a student leader and adult technicians.
The “Pride of the Beaches” performs during all attended football games in the stands and during half-time ceremonies. They also perform at various community support appearances based on need and schedule.
In addition to football games and community appearances, the band performs their halftime show at approximately 5 competitions and festivals per season and, most seasons, earn the right to go compete in the FMBC state championships.
Marching season begins with summer band camp in July and ends in November with the FMBC state championships.
The 2019-2020 Marching Senators Show for this year is Queen of the Night.
